This project aimed to explore new learning methods and reflect on the experience, in preparation for support for my final portfolio project, serving as a base point for methods and strategies that I will know which work and don’t work for me, including design strategies.
This was developed through my study groups project of designing a visitors centre from an existing site in Weymouth, Dorset. Given project titled "The spirit of Weymouth" our aim to propose how a visitors center could help solve Weymouth's identity crisis.
Below is the development of this project and how I approach the task. I encourage you to look through to see the scheme and design I produced.

Site Map - Model Making
Created a physical site map with Ella Taylor, to gain further understanding of the site and its location after a group site visit. Applied digital affects to communicate the area surrounding the site, which will contribute to the sites efficiency and local development.

Making an interactive model
With Oliver Dewes
Due to the size of the building myself and Oliver Dewes a member of my study group, created this interactive model to move the floors of the building to get exploded views of each floor, to assist us with our design development stage.

Spatial arrangement planning on existing floor plans
Exploring the existing columns of the building
